Apart from the above two, you could go for a third party for payment. This is almost similar to using pay pal. The only difference is the customers do not have to pay on pay pal instead he will go to a third party website. The reason behind using a third party is the involvement of security. The third party will provide a secure and encrypted payment for the customer. They will help in credit card processing. The third party website has your logo and other features on it to look just like your website. As a result customer does not realize that they are paying in another site. Though it looks like professional but costs more to implement than pay pal.
Finally you may implement a payment system on your own site for payment. In this way you are ensured of a secured credit card acceptance. There is no need for the customer to leave your site. But you have to pay more for implementing this as it is the most professional looking option available. This may cost you around a thousand dollar depending on the features you want.
